Public Space Project Links |
Pilot projects have already begun at several locations – at Naranja, Coral Gables, Turner Tech and Braddock High School. Those student involved so far have been thrilled at the prospects of having their research and hard work make a tangible difference in their environment. Homestead High School students are now working with the County Parks Department to study and redesign a new 25 acre Royal Colonial Trailer Park into a fascinating new space, including a library. These represent what could be just a handful of public space projects that could be underway if community members had the right resources. The Florida Public Space Project aims to provide just such a link.
