Sports Medicine with a Concentration in Exercise Physiology - M.S.Ed.

The Sports Medicine program is designed to prepare students for career opportunities in  clinical research, athletic and health-related settings.  The curriculum is designed to enhance the knowledge base of the student and also to provide sound academic preparation to allow for advanced placement within the sports medicine field.

Certified athletic trainers, physical therapists, personal trainers and exercise physiologists are just some of the individuals who can benefit professionally from this program.  Please note that this degree program does not meet the requirements of the NATABOC, and therefore, does not entitle an individual to sit for the athletic training certification exam.  However, completion of this program may aid the student in meeting the requirements and prerequisites needed for admission into some of the many other allied health programs.

Women’s Health Certificate Students completing ESS 581, ESS 582, ESS 583 and ESS 584 are eligible for a Women’s Health Certificate.
