This web site is an ongoing project created by Professor Eugene F. Provenzo, Jr., Department of Teaching and Learning, School of Education, University of Miami. It represents an effort to try to provide brief biographical introductions to some of the major thinkers in contemporary educational thought. It includes not only links to relevant web sites on each author, but also detailed bibliographies of their works. When available media sources are listed as well.

While this site is initially being developed for use in conjunction with Professor Provenzo's TAL 602, Contemporary Educational Thought, it is intended as a resource for any students or scholars who wish to accesss its content through the Internet.

The bibliographies included for each thinker are by no means complete. Articles published by and about the individuals included on this web site are not included. The bibliographies were created by online searches through the Library of Congress.
