Agricultural and Mechanical College, Greensboro, North Carolina

Founded in 1891, the Agricultural and Mechanical College, Greensboro, North Carolina quickly became one of the major African American colleges in North Carolina. Today it is known as North Carolina Agricultural and Technical State University  and has an enrollment of over 7,000 students.
