Several hundred photographs of black life in Georgia were included as part of the Georgia Negro Exhibit. These are in addition to the individual studio portraits that were also part of the exhibit. Unfortunately none of their captions survive. The historical value of the photographs, therefore, is largely impressionistic. It is assumed that most of these photographs were taken in or around Atlanta, Georgia. |
