The Department of Teaching and Learning offers the Bachelor of Science in Education in the following areas:
In conjunction with the College of Arts and Sciences, the Department of Teaching and Learning also offers a major in Secondary Education in the following areas: English, Chemistry, Biology, Social Science (History, Economics, Political Science, Geography), and Mathematics.
The Department collaborates with the School of Music to offer courses leading to certification in Music Education.
The Department also offers a non certification minor in Education consisting of 15 credits. Courses must be selected from the list of acceptable departmental courses. A minimum of six credits must be at the 400 level or higher.
Department of Exercise and Sport Sciences.
The undergraduate programs in the Exercise and Sport Sciences Department offer a major in Exercise Physiology, Athletic Training, and Sport Administration.
The Exercise Physiology major provides students with a well-rounded background in the sciences to work in the health and fitness industry, the corporate setting, the medical field, and advanced study.
The Athletic Training major is designed to prepare students for careers in the health care profession. The program is accredited by the Commission on Accreditation of Athletic Training Education (CAATE)

The Sport Administration major is designed to prepare students for work in the sports organization industry with special emphasis in clinical internships, marketing, ethnics, legal issues, and human resources.
There is also a Biology/Exercise Physiology double major which emphasizes the strong relationship between the field of Exercise Physiology and the Biological Sciences.
There are, in addition 5 minors offered through the Exercise and Sport Sciences Department. These include:

The minor in Family and Human Services is offered through this department.
