| The School of Education consists
of three departments: Educational and Psychological Studies,
Exercise and Sports Science, and Teaching and Learning. There
are approximately 400 undergraduate majors, 400 undergraduate
minors, and 400 graduate students.
Each department has unique and distinctive features.
Teaching and Learning excels in scholarly productivity, as
demonstrated by its fourth place in a national ranking system.
Educational and Psychological Studies graduates the largest
number of bilingual PhDs in counseling psychology in the nation.
Exercise and Sports Sciences, in turn, offers a very popular
and growing sports administration program.
Part of our strategic plan is to integrate
the strengths of the three departments in a common vision
of educational and community well-being, a vision that encompasses
physical, psychological, and educational development.
