The Sports Medicine minor is designed to meet the growing interest in programs of study that integrate exercise and medical science with the practical aspects of human performance.  By completing this program, students have an opportunity to acquire important knowledge as they learn about anatomy, human movement, nutrition, sports injuries and other related material.  In essence, this program is designed to provide a foundation for those students wishing to complete an advanced degree or for those students who may be interested in applying to a professional school.
