RESEARCH, MEASUREMENT AND EVALUATION

Department :
Educational and Psychological Studies
Area :
Research, Measurement and Evaluation

The Research and Evaluation Program prepares students in the broad fields of behavioral research, statistics and evaluation.  Students gain knowledge in designing and conducting quantitative and qualitative research, analyzing data from psychological and educational studies, evaluating psychological and educational programs, devising and analyzing questionnaires and surveys, and using tests more effectively to conduct research and evaluate programs.

Applicants with bachelor’s degrees in any area are eligible to apply to the master’s program.  However, students with a background in mathematics, psychology, sociology, statistics, or education are particularly well prepared to begin graduate  programs in research and evaluation.
