Consulting for Organizational and Community Wellness
Isaac consults with human services,
government and community organizations on how to promote psychological,
organizational and community wellness. Using a “webs
of wellness” approach he emphasizes the need to work at the personal,
relational, and collective levels of well-being at the same time.
Isaac claims that a “transformational approach” needs to complement an
“ameliorative approach” to wellness. His value-based
approach complements the need for prevention and

In contrast to models that advocate
either/or forms of helping (prevention or treatment, therapy or
community-building, emotional support or social change), Isaac believes that
human services need to embrace a more inclusive mode of helping, one that promotes personal, relational, and collective
wellness at the same time.
