  BACHELOR'S
  The Bachelor of Science in Education (B.S.Ed.) is an undergraduate degree and requires a minimum of 120 credits. Students declaring a major in Elementary Education/ESOL (grades K-6) or Special Education/ESOL (grades K-12) must also choose a major in the College of Arts and Sciences. Students declaring a major in Secondary Education must choose a teachable subject area major and enroll through the College of Arts and Sciences. All majors listed above are offered through the Department of Teaching and Learning and lead to eligibility for state certification.

Through the Department of Exercise and Sport Sciences, a Bachelor of Science in Education is offered with majors in the following areas: Athletic Training, Exercise Physiology, and Sport Administration.
  MINOR
 

The School of Education offers minors requiring a minimum of 15-credits with at least two courses at the 400-level or above in the following areas:

  • Education (non-certification)
  • Exercise Physiology
  • Family and Human Services
  • Leadership
  • Sport Administration
  • Sports Medicine
