Dean's Dozen - 2009

The Dean’s Dozen is a group of twelve official student ambassadors who are selected by the office of Student Services and are involved in representing the School of Education in university and general civic community life.

The students in this prestigious organization maintain an ongoing relationship with faculty and administrators and serve as ambassadors of the School of Education. The Dean’s Dozen is a voluntary group of students formed for the purpose of aiding the School of Education in representation and recruitment of students for the University of Miami.

MEET THIS YEAR'S DEAN'S DOZEN

Membership Policy:

Students who are selected to serve as the Dean’s Dozen will be responsible for the following activities:

Hosting
give tours to selected groups; accompany student visitors to various events, serve as a representative at various meetings with faculty, administrators and visiting groups.
Recruitment
On-campus participation required for one Open House program with audiences of up to 1,800 people, participation in one phone campaign, and the School of Education receptions and recruiting activities for prospective students.
Public Affairs Resource
Serve as needed in the School of Education publication photos and other media productions.
Meetings
Attend orientation and training sessions
